We just got back from 10 days at Mistusinne. We had a fantastic time and BEAUTIFUL weather, almost every day. We are staying in Drum for the time being, house is off the market and we're settling back in. Here's some great pics from our trip.

So yes, we are still moving back up to Leduc/Edmonton. But things are taking a while. The housing market hasn't picked up for spring yet down here, so we're still waiting for our house to sell. Dave's new boss up in Edmonton is being great about it though, and Dave can work out of the office down here, making day trips to Edmonton for meetings when needed. So that's great. We are hoping things start to pick up so we can get it over with though.

Brianna and Zach are doing fabulous. Zach was 7 months old on Saturday and cut his first tooth that day. He started crawling the next day and is now pulling himself up to stand every chance he gets. Brianna's speaking full sentences and can count to ten. She's definitely testing her limits a lot, "timeouts" are a well known item in our house lately. But they work great for her, she always wants to be so involved in anything that's happening that sitting on the stairs watching just devestates her. She still keeps us cracking up all the time, some of the things that she says.

Anyhow, Not much else going on. Will keep everyone updated.

Here We Go Again!

Well, we're moving again. We've been down here a whole 6 months, although Dave's been working here for almost a year. Now we are moving back up to Edmonton, well we'll probably go to Leduc again, but Dave will be working in Edmonton. I know...we're nuts, but it'll be a great move for us. Dave will be happy at work again, YAY! We listed our house last night and can go as soon as we sell ours and get a house up there. The nice thing is Dave doesn't have to go up right away, they are letting him wait until the house sells. So we won't be separated this time, which is very nice, especially with 2 kids now. So now we are just anxious to do it and get up there, we're actually quite excited, and as long as we get all this moving every year or less out of our systems and done before the kids hit school I'll be happy. Anyhow, nothing else new, but I'll keep you all apprised of the situation.

Perfect Afternoon!

Again it has been entirely too long since I have posted. Oh well I'm sure you're all used to it by now. Things here are great. The kids are growing so fast. Brianna had her 2nd birthday on the 12th, we had the party on the 11th. It was great she had a few of her friends from the block and playgroup over and they played and had cake, and then of course it was time for presents. Well, she was fully into that this year got into the ripping and tearing really well. And her reactions to the presents couldn't have been better. It was always "WOW" or "LOOK" when she opened them, it was fantastic. She's so smart and talks really well, she definitely keeps us on our toes.

Zach is growing so fast...he's 3 1/2 months old and is 17.5 lbs. and 26 1/2" long already. Not sure who must be feeding him the steak, haha, but wow. He is a happy and content little guy, and he is SO strong. He never wants to sit up he always wants to stand, I hear that's boys though. Will update again soon, well I'll try anyways.

Well, 13 days ago we wlcomed our newest addition to our family. We had a boy, Zachary Scott Willner 9 lbs 8 ozs and 21.5" long. He is perfect and lovely, and a very content little boy. Brianna loves him to pieces, she kisses him constantly and gets very concerned if he starts to cry. We couldn't have gotten luckier than we have with our 2. We are so blessed.

Well, I haven't been able to get into my account to update for a while, so sorry.

We are all moved and settled in to Drumheller. We LOVE our house, but even more we love being all together under the same roof again. Now we're on the countdown for the new baby. We have 2 and a half weeks left, but the baby has already dropped, so it could happen anytime. Couldn't come soon enough for us, we're all very anxious.

Brianna's doing fantastic, she's learning so much so fast, it keeps our heads spinning. She's repeating so much of what we say that she's picking up about 4-5 new words a day. It's UNBELIEVABLE.

We'll be attaching some pics and video soon.

Next post will probably be after the baby's here, and some pics of him/her as well.

Wow, I can't believe how long it's been since I updated our page. So sorry!! Lots has happened.

Dave got a promotion and transfer, so we're moving to Drumheller. We bought a house, being built, and will be ready by May 31. Dave has already been working down there for 2 months now, living in a hotel. He quite likes the job, but HATES living in the hotel and can't wait for the house to be done so that we're all down there together. He stays down there during the week and comes home on weekends, we're all tired of it, but we're down to 7-8 weeks now, so time is going.

We sold this house in record time, the sign went up on a Sunday afternoon, and got posted online by our realtor just after lunch on Monday. Our first people walked through at 5:30, by 6:30 they put in an offer, and by 7 we had accepted. The conditions were removed by Friday, and the whole thing was done. We got our possession date and within $1,900 of our asking price, which we had set a little high to have some wiggle room. I guess we didn't need the wiggle room after all.

I am now 23 weeks pregnant, the baby is doing great and growing very well!! Our second, and last as long as everything goes smoothly, ultrasound was done on March 23. We did not find out what we're having, the guessing game is too much fun.

Brianna is growing up, she's such a little girl now, not a baby at all anymore. She's running around, chatting up a storm, and way too smart for her own good. She learns new things all the time, it's hard to keep up.

Hello everyone. We just had our ultrasound yesterday and it was fabulous. We are 12 weeks 3 days along. Officially due July 31. We are very excited and Brianna thought it was really cool to see the heart beating. Dave is in Houston until tomorrow, so he missed it, which sucked. But Jessie came with me, that was really nice. It was great too because that way Brianna got to come too. Everything checked out perfectly. There are 10 fingers and 10 toes. The legs are crossed and the baby had the hiccups throughout the ultrasound. Way too cute. Anywho, here's a picture of the ultrasound. Enjoy.

Anniversary!!!

Hard to believe that the holidays are over already. We had a FABULOUS Christmas here, Dave's family all came out and spent Christmas here and had Christmas Day dinner at Jess and Jeff's. Everyone got spoiled rotten and had a great time. WAY too much food, but oh well, that's not necessarily a bad thing. New Year's was pretty tame, we had our neighbors Glenn, Dawn and Jackson over for dinner and the evening. It was really nice, the whole holidays with friends and family. Couldn't have been any better.

And now, today is Dave and my 5 year Anniversary. Hard to believe it's been 5 yrs already. Brianna is growing cuter and more Fabulous everyday. Wasn't sure it was possible, but she continues to prove it. She's full blown walking now. That takes a lot more of my energy for sure.

I'm sure everyone knows by now that we are expecting again. We find out the due date on the 19th, we have an ultrasound then. We'll update you when we find that out. For now it's looking like the end of July.

Brianna's 1st Steps and 1st Birthday all in One Week!!!

I can't believe it!!! Brianna took her first steps on Monday night. Our friends from Medicine Hat were up and well Brianna thought it would be a perfect time to take her first steps. I was standing in the living room and she was holding onto my legs...all of a sudden she let go, turned toward the couch and off she went. It was about 5-6 steps, then she did it again last night and today at mommies and me. Tonight I finally got some video footage of her doing it. Too awesome. Just in time for her birthday UNREAL.

Her birthday is on Saturday and I'm so excited. She is going to be absolutely surrounded by friends and family. All of Dave's family is coming out, it'll be great to see them all. I can't believe she 1 already. We're throwing a Care Bears themed party, and it's going to be marvelous.

Well, this past Saturday night I threw a 30th birthday party for Lacey!!! One of my best friends and neighbors down the street. It was a BLAST. It was 70's themed, we had to do something that sent a shout out to the decade that Lacey was born. We had about 20 people here and we all had a few drinks and a great time. And we made a few new friends, which we can always use.

Dave was hurting, just a little, on Sunday. Thankfully I felt fine! Nobody got out of hand, so even cleanup was easy. Woohoo, made my day easier.

Can't wait until Dave's next summer. Now THAT will be fun.

So sorry, been slacking again. But we've been sick. We've had colds and Brianna's been teething, was getting her eye teeth. "yikes", they are the worst ones, but then they went back up, so....

Anyhoo, not much to report. Except I am so excited for October!!! Brianna and I get to go to Florida for my cousin's wedding. Dave can't get off work, again, oh well. But my parents are taking us down. Then Brianna's first Halloween!!! and then, in less than 2 months from now Brianna's 1st birthday!!! Unbelievable!!! Starting to plan already. Well, ttfn.

Well, it's been a big week for Brianna. She stood on her own last Sunday, not holding onto a thing. We were so sure this meant she was going to skip crawling. Then she decided to prove us wrong on that. On Thursday night she started to crawl. She still prefers to stand and walk around, but now she'll crawl to a spot where she can stand and go from there. On Wednesday her 2nd tooth came through, on the bottom. So now she has both her bottom front teeth.

Well, that's all on this end. As if that's not enough. Now we're off to buy security gates for the stairs. How quickly that happened.

Reverse Engineer!!!

So it turns out our daughter has a hidden talent. She can take things apart, things she shouldn't be able to. She has taken apart pens and taken caps off of bottles, even childproof caps, don't ask me how because I don't know. Dave's convinced she's going to be a reverse engineer. I don't know what she's going to be when she grows up, but if this is all fluke, it's a heck of a lot of fluky incidents. And if she actually is smart enough that she's figured out how to do it I'm afraid for Dave and I as she gets older and smarter. We may be in real trouble.

Well, Brianna finally cut her first tooth night before last. It's very exciting. As soon as it's up far enough to be seen with a camera I'll post a picture. She's getting stronger in her standing everyday. And she now mimicks Patrick, whenever she sees or hears him she starts going "ow, ow". It's so cute. Anyhow nothing else new. I'll talk to you all later.

So not much has happened this week, our weather is quite a bit cooler than I'd normally like for this time of year, but oh well. Brianna was 9 months old yesterday, unreal!! She went in for her 9 month check up and all is good. I get to go out tonight with a couple girls on the block, very exciting. Dave and Brianna will have some good quality time together, as he's gone all week to Grande Prairie.

Our "Get Well" wishes go out to Scott, sorry to hear about your arm! We hope you have a speedy recovery.

We're Back!!

Ok, so it's been forever since I have updated our blog. I've been such a slacker. But I promise I'll keep it up at least weekly from now on. So here's what's new. Not much. (haha) We went to Lake Diefenbaker for a week, it was nice and relaxing, but wow it was HOT, over 40 with humidex. Absolutely crazy. Brianna didn't like it much, she couldn't sleep it was so hot. So we went back to the farm a couple of days early, which was ok because it gave Karielle and I more time to prepare for Gord and Laura's surprise 15th Anniversary party. The party went off without a hitch. A good amount of people showed up, enough for it to be a decent party but not so many that they couldn't get a good visit in with everyone.

Brianna's growing up so fast. She's pulling herself up standing on furniture and walking around it, unbelievable. She started clapping her hands and she's saying mama and dada all the time now. It's amazing to watch her grow and change into this little person.

We went to Bow Island to visit Liane, Randy and Norah. We had a great visit, Norah's so grown up now, amazing to think that Brianna will be there in less than a year and a half (Norah's 2). We really miss them but the trip sure showed us what a good move this was for us, because they are the only people down there that mean anything to us and vice versa. Hard to believe we have more friends here in 6 months than we did in Taber in 5 1/2-6 years.

We have a GREAT bunch of neighbors here. There are 3 other babies within 4 houses, all boys (much to Dave's dismay). Brianna's the youngest by a couple of months, Andrew will be 1 in September, Jackson was 1 in May, and Joel will be 1 at the end of September-beginning of October, I'm not totally sure of his birthday. We have mommies and me every Wednesday, which is great, our kids get to play with eachother and us moms get to socialize with adults. What a novel concept!!!

Wow, our lives are very uneventful. Our days and weekends are completely revolved around Brianna, of course, so other than what's new with her, not much is new with us.

Dave's been working like crazy. On the road a lot, but he seems to be getting somewhere, so that's what matters. His bosses are really happy, and he feels like he accomplishes something at the end of the day which is great. A big change from when we were in Taber.

Brianna and I have been going to mommies and me with all the kids on the block, and it's great. She's growing SOOO fast, 6 months old already, unreal. My MS walk is coming up really quickly. I'm really looking forward to it. Like I said not much new.

She's Growing So Fast

Brianna and I went to the farm for a visit last weekend. It was so nice to see everyone. Dave had to go to Taber and Swift Current for work, so Brianna and I went ourselves. It was a great visit. We were a little bit worried that she would play strange with everyone out there because she hadn't seen them since Christmas, and she's just at that age. Plus she's teething, so that makes a difference too. But she didn't, she was great. She was very taken with Gord, beaming when he came in the room or she went to him, and following him (with her eyes) when he left the room. It was too cute. We were very relieved that she didn't play strange with anyone.

She sure is growing fast though. When you put her in the sitting position she will actually hold herself there for quite a while. She can't pull herself into the sitting position, but she can keep herself there. Her legs are very strong, she can hold herself up on her legs, with our hands there to keep her balance. It amazes me how she gets so strong, so fast. She's working on rolling over and will be very soon. And she has found her toes. She is fascinated by her toes, it's so funny to watch.

Deb gets to Edmonton tonight, at midnight, and she will go to Jess and Jeff's. This weekend she will come to our place for a visit to meet Brianna for the first time. So that will be exciting. I really hope Brianna doesn't play strange with her, she played strange with my parents for a couple days when we were in Arizona. So even though she didn't play strange with the Gord, Laura, Hayley, Syd, Don and Karielle last weekend, she has done it before. So it is still a worry. Oh well, I guess we'll see.

Spring is Coming

Ok, well technically it's already here, but we all know it hasn't acted like it. Now, though, the temperature outside is rising, the sun is shining, and the forecast is for it to continue. YAAAYYYYY! I can't wait to be able to go for walks with Brianna, and get some fresh air, without having to worry about if it's too cold for her. I really need to start walking now if I'm going to be in good enough shape for the MS walk on May 29.

Ah, life is good. Relaxing days, snuggling with my daughter. Who could ask for more?

Walk for MS

Hey everyone, no doubt all of you recieved an e-mail recently that I am doing the Supercities Walk for MS. I am not the type of person that usually does this type of thing, but there's always a first time. I think it's important to set a good example for Brianna and show her that every individual can help make a difference. I chose MS because it is the disease that has most directly affected my family. I will be doing at least 5 km, I can do up to 15, but I'm going to see the kind of shape I'm in at the time. I truly appreciate anything any of you can contribute. Wish me luck.

We're Back!

Well, sorry we haven't posted in so long. Brianna and I got back from Arizona last week. We went down to visit my parents. Dave couldn't go, as he was busy with work. So Brianna went for her first plane ride and did AWESOME. As nice as it was to go down and see my parents and be in warm weather it was SO nice to come home. Dave and I have both said that we are never travelling without each other for that long again.

Brianna is changing so fast. Every week we notice differences in her. We almost feel like we can't keep up and are missing things, even though we're there all the time. She's an incredibly happy little girl, very smily and giggling quite a bit now.

Gord, Laura, Hayley, and Sydney are planning on coming up for spring break. We're really looking forward to that, and they are going to be shocked at Brianna. We send out pictures regularly but it just doesn't capture how far she's come.
